![]()
Tri-Lakes Houseboat Rentals offers accomodations at a vacation spot close to home on clean, clear Table Rock Lake nestled in the Ozark Mountains at the Port of Kimberling and provides quick access to music shows, Silver Dollar City, or other attractions of Branson. You have over 800 miles of shore line toexplore and the lake offers fishing, scuba diving, water skiing, andswimming. A houseboat can easily tow a fishing boat or ski boat. If you want to rent a fishing boat or ski boat, these are available from the local marina .(What's Up Dock?) FISHING- Fishing can either be accomplished from the deck of the houseboat while lounging in a deck chair or from a tag along fishing boat. Spring is an excellent time for the fisherman as the white bass are running in the James River Arm of the lake. Fall also offers excellent fishing as the water starts to cool back down from the summer.
WATER SKIING - Nothing could be better than that early morning ski when the water is smooth as glass. It can't be any closer than walking out of your houseboat door to board your ski boat moored along side. There are many coves around the lake which allows the skier to find smooth water. For the skier who likes a challenge there are usually some slalom courses to choose from. SWIMMING- Table Rock Lake is beautiful, clean, clear lake and swimming is possible anywhere on the lake from your boat or at the swim areas in the Public Use areas. Another favorite is the rope swing where the swimmer can swing out from the rocky bluff and drop into the cool water. For your added swimming pleasure, each houseboat unit not features a water slide. DINING OUT - There are at least five restaurants located at various points that can be reached by water. It will require a short walk to reach them as our lake is a Corp of Engineers lake and the edge of the lake is public lands. DINING IN - Each houseboat is equipped with a propane BBQ, stove with oven and microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Food supplies can be kept in the refrigerator with freezer or the 100 qt ice chest. RENTAL UNITS- The houseboat units are available in three different sizes to accommodate the various group sizes. Our PlayCraft 6-, and 12-sleeper units offer a jet drive propulsion system which eliminates the worry of tearing up a lower unit or prop. The 12-sleeper RPC Model was newly remodeled in 2003. The Model FenCraft 12-sleeper unit offers jet drive propulsion, and allows wheel chair access to the main bathroom, some sleeping areas, main living area, and front and rear decks. The Sunseeker 10-sleeper units use a volvo penta outdrive and also have an upper steering station. Maximum speed still remains in the 8 to 10 mph range. FUEL - Gas consumption will be approximately one gallon per mile. Gas usage will vary depending upon the speed and use of generator. Gas tank sizes range from 60 to 120 gallons depending on the unit. WATER - Houseboat units are equipped with both 50 to 200 gallons of fresh water and Play Craft units feature lake water draw for shower, sinks and toilets. A hot water tank is also on board.
